- Editorial Department: This department comprises the publishing director, editorial managers, editorial assistants, acquisition editors, journal administrators, journal development editors, and the editorial board (including the Editor-in-Chief and Associate Editors).
Responsibilities: This department is responsible for developing and implementing IPS Intelligentsia's journal publishing policies and workflow.
Requirements: Advanced degree (M.Sc or Ph.D) from any field of study, along with publishing experience. Interested individuals should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to collaborate with external contacts such as senior researchers in academia and industry for successful publishing.
- Production Department: This department comprises production directors, production managers, production editors, digital content managers, desk editors, typesetters, and copy editors.
Responsibilities: This department oversees all production procedures, including setting quality standards and planning to incorporate new technologies.
Requirements: Degree-level qualifications from any academic discipline, along with comprehensive knowledge of all production aspects including editorial, typesetting, printing, digital object identifier systems, and archiving.
- Information Technology Department: This department comprises technology specialists and IT and software developers.
Responsibilities: This department oversees system design and architecture, ICT technologies, workflow stratifications, and digital infrastructure setup and maintenance.
Requirements: Formal education, degree/diploma level qualifications in courses related to information and communication technology such as information technology, computer science/engineering, software and network engineering, graphic arts, digital illustration and animation, multimedia arts, programming, data science, cloud computing, etc.
- Media and Communication Department: This department comprises information specialists who oversee the outflow of information/published information to the target audience.
Responsibilities: This department is responsible for indexing and database archiving of published contents, as well as managing social media handles and blogs.
Requirements: Degree/diploma in information science, library science, mass communication, or related fields in social sciences. Strong writing and communication skills, along with the ability to manage digital media (visual and sound media), are advantageous.
- Quality Control and Customer Service Department: This department comprises quality control and assurance editors, customer care representatives, administration, and finance teams.
Responsibilities: This department ensures all accepted content is vetted before final approval for publishing. Responsibilities include checking for grammatical errors, typesetting quality, and figures/media quality.
